How to find Home Farm B&B
Satnav Note!
Certain Sat Navs direct guests approaching Home Farm from the A303, via Stockland Hill,
and then down Hayne Lane. This is not a shortcut. Hayne Lane is very steep, narrow and there
are no street lights. Instead, follow directions from the A303 and the A30 straight to
Honiton, and then out of Honiton again on the A35 Dorchester Road.
Also, some satnavs divert on a small lane behind the B&B – “New Road”
in Widworthy. Ignore this – our entrance is on the main A35.
Travelling from London
The easiest and fastest route is usually by taking the M3, then A303, followed by the
A30. (Allow extra time for the Stonehenge part of the A303 in the summer!)
Take the Honiton turn off the A30, then follow signs for the A35 to Dorchester.
Home Farm is 3 miles along the A35 in the village of Wilmington.
The bed and breakfast is the last building in the village on the right-hand side.
Travelling from The South East
You’ll likely find yourself travelling on the A27 > M27 ( past Southampton >
A31 ( past Ringwood ) > A35 ( Past Dorchester)
Once you hit Axminster we;’re les than 6 miles / 10 minutes away.
You’ll see the sign for the village of Wilmington and we are the first building on
the left, just after Widworthy Mill and the signposted “Widworthy” turning.
Travelling from the M4 or M5
Travelling south on the M5, take junction 28 (Cullompton) and turn left on the A373 to
Honiton.
On reaching Honiton town centre, turn left at the T-junction, up the High Street to the
roundabout.
Turn right on the roundabout; A35 signposted to Dorchester.
Home Farm is 3 miles along the A35 in the village of Wilmington.
Whilst The White Hart pub is the first building on the left of Wilmington, Home Farm is the
last building in the village on the right-hand side.
From Exeter / Exeter Airport
Take the A30 East.
Go past the first “Honiton” junction, and take the next junction signposted A35
Dorchester.
Follow signs for the A35 to Dorchester.
Home Farm is 3 miles along the A35 in the village of Wilmington.
Our lovely 16th Century Farmhouse bed and breakfast is the last building in the village on
the right-hand side.
